We only ever seem to see her frolicking on the beach on in steamy public clinches with her Disney star boyfriend lately but Vanessa Hudgens’ recent appearance proves she isn’t just a lady of leisure.
The actress – who is best known for her role as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series – stepped out in Mexico today to promote her new project.
The 23-year-old joined Journey 2: The Mysterious Island filmmaker, Brad Peyton, plus co-stars Luiz Guzman, Josh Hutcherson and wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as they prepared for a press conference in Mexico City.

The star plays Kailani in the flick about a teenage boy who partners with his mother's boyfriend on a mission to find his grandfather, thought to be missing on a mythical island.
While she plays a casual action girl in the mythical 3D movie, Hudgens went all-out glamorous for her photocall on Friday.
The brunette tied back her locks and showed off her shoulders in an asymmetric navy blue Grecian-style maxi gown.

With floral detail on one side, the starlet added a touch of Hawaii to her outfit, aptly so as filming took place in eight different locations on the island.
Although she was unusually covering up, the curvaceous bombshell – who often wears belly-baring ensembles - emphasised her shape with a tie feature at the waist of her frock.
Vanessa – who is never shy when it comes to public displays of affection – leaned forward at one point to blow her adoring audience a kiss.

The flirty screen star can more often than not be seen at the side of her hunky beau while she is at home in L.A and as she travels the world.
Her Switched at Birth star boyfriend, Austin Butler, 20, joined her in Hawaii last week but was nowhere to be seen this time as she hit Central America.
The motion picture, also starring Michael Caine and Kristin Davis, is released in US cinemas February 10.
